 We announced we were getting in the new Ommegang/Game of Thrones release, Valar Dohaeris Tripel, in the email last Friday. As is always the case when something hasn't actually arrived before sending out an email, we didn't get it until this week. But it's here now and we have photographic evidence this time! What's better, we've decided we need to taste it, along with some of the other great beers in the ever expanding Ommegang lineup. On deck alongside the Valar Dohaeris is their original Abbey Dubbel, Rosetta Flemish Ale w/Cherries (brewed for Ommegang by Liefmans in Belgium) and Great Beyond Double IPA (their first commercially released beer with absolutely NO Belgian influences).  On deck today are their two year- round offerings in 6pack cans, the 'Til Sunset Session IPA and Magic Beaver Belgian Pale Ale, as well as three from their Reserve series in 750ml bottles; Mango Habanero Brown Ale (made from 6 row barley grown on their property), La Calavera Catrina (Belgian Style Tripel aged in tequilla barrels on lime zest), and the Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Obsession Imperial Chocolate Stout (the name pretty much says it all....) A reminder that all tasting beers purchased during the tasting will receive a 10% discount. Hope to see you here!
