 For the last tasting of 2016, we are going BIG, as in all 750ml bottles and all awesomeness. For the continuing Christmas season we have two holiday themed releases (Smartmouth 'Santa's Helper' Red IPA and The Bruery '9 Ladies Dancing') as well as two new releases made during the holiday season (Sierra Nevada 'Trip In The Woods' Barrel Aged Biere de Garde and Lickinghole Creek 'Virginia Black Bear' Russian Imperial Stout). For the cider fans we also have a unique treat called Pommeau du Normandie, a fortified blend of unfermented apple juice and distilled Calvados, This style of beverage is common in regions famous for making distillates as it combines the sweetness of the base fruit with the complexity of the liquor, also mitigating the burn of the high alcohol. Locally the Kluge/Trump Cru has made the style very popular as well. Hope to see you here!

 We are DEEEEEEEP in the throes of holiday beer cheer here so it's time to start pouring a few! Today we are featuring several new holiday arrivals, as well as some new releases that will just taste good during the cold weather this weekend. On deck today are the Brasserie Dupont 'Avec le Bons Voeux' Saison (special unspiced holiday strong Saison), Vakka-Suomen Panimo 'Prykmestar' (strong Sahti spiced ale from Finland), Birra del Borgo '25 Dolci' (Belgian style ale from Italy spiced with bitter orange peel), Adroit Theory 'God Is An American (recently released Imperial IPA from Virginia) Terrapin 'Wake N Bake Imperial Oatmeal Stout (a long time holiday favorite now in can) and the Stone 'Give Me Stout Or Give Me Death' Imperial Stout w/Raspberries and Blackberries (VA only collaboration with Hardywood Park and Ardent Craft Ales in Richmond). Featured today will be the three beers in the Brothers Craft Brewing holiday release of their Rotating Series Limited 3-Pack of 22oz bottles (Oak Aged Elementary Porter, Whitlock Belgian Inspired White IPA, and Martel's Hammer Belgian Dark Ale), Einbecker Winter Dopplebock, Great Lakes 'Blackout' Imperial Stout, and Brewery Ommegang 'Lovely, DArk, and Deep Winter Oatmeal Stout.
