BEER TASTING FRIDAY AUGUST 25 4-7pm: "LOCK'N? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING LOCK'N!"

In addition to celebrating all of those out there that AREN'T making their way down to Arrington for the next three days, we also wanted to theme this as a Welcome (Back) to Virginia tasting, for all of those either new to Charlottesville or returning to the area after spending time away this Summer. We wanted to feature some outstanding new releases from breweries in the state you may have missed while you were gone. Available to taste will be the Port City Optimal Wit (GABF Small Brewery of the Year, new pint can format), Stone 'Virginia Brewery Prototype' IPA (first VA-only release from the new Richmond facility), Champion 'Fruitless' Double IPA (the base for their esteemed Fruitbasket IPA without the added fruit), South Street 'Tongue Dropper' Sour Double IPA (formerly known as Tongue Ninja), O'Connor 'Discovery' Scotch Ale (made from 100% floor malted Virginia grown grains from Copper Fox Distillery), and Adroit Theory 'Love of the Damned' Old Ale w/Port Wine Must (just a bad-ass beer).
