Several new releases from area cider and mead producers came out over the holidays, so we figured we would give you all an opportunity to try them out for yourselves this Friday. Of particular interest is a new source from Maine that we featured in an email several weeks back called Oyster River Winegrowers whose naturalistic stylings make for some very dry, almost Basque-like product. Along with their regular bottling we will be trying their limited 'Wildman Cuvee', created by foraging wild grown apples from surrounding forests. All ciders use native yeasts and are unfiltered/unfined. Lots of fun new stuff to enjoy, hope to see you here!
